MediaStory will make reasonable efforts to deliver services professionally and within agreed timelines, subject to client cooperation and timely feedback.

Projects

Projects are fixed-scope engagements designed around a defined outcome.

Any change in scope may result in:

  • Revised timelines
  • Additional fees
  • Updated deliverables
  • Amended project agreements

MediaStory reserves the right to pause work until revised terms are agreed.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Supply required materials
  • Respond to requests within reasonable timeframes
  • Review work promptly
  • Provide approvals when required
  • Maintain access to necessary platforms where applicable

Delays caused by missing information, approvals, or access may affect delivery timelines.

Fees and Payments

Fees are outlined within individual proposals, agreements, or invoices.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Invoices are payable within the stated payment period
  • Late payments may result in service suspension
  • Outstanding balances may delay project delivery
  • Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced unless otherwise agreed in writing

MediaStory reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts where permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

  • Frameworks
  • Processes
  • Templates
  • Proprietary tools
  • Strategic documents
  • Pre-existing intellectual property

Client Ownership

Upon full payment, clients receive rights to the final approved deliverables specified within their agreement.

Third-Party Assets

Certain deliverables may contain third-party licensed materials, fonts, software, stock assets, or platform-dependent components that remain subject to their original licence terms.

Portfolio Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, MediaStory may:

  • Display completed work
  • Reference projects
  • Use project materials in case studies
  • Showcase deliverables in marketing materials
  • Include work within portfolios and presentations

Confidential information will not be disclosed without permission.

Third-Party Platforms

MediaStory may utilise third-party platforms including:

  • Webflow
  • Google Workspace
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Meet
  • Meta Platforms
  • ClickUp
  • Slack
  • Notion
  • GoHighLevel
  • Stripe
  • Make
  • Other approved service providers

MediaStory is not responsible for outages, interruptions, policy changes, pricing changes, or technical issues arising from third-party platforms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

MediaStory shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Consequential losses
  • Loss of revenue
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Data loss
  • Platform outages
  • Third-party failures

MediaStory’s total liability relating to any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

No Guarantees

While MediaStory aims to deliver high-quality work and strategic guidance, we do not guarantee:

  • Revenue growth
  • Lead generation results
  • Search engine rankings
  • Advertising performance
  • Social media performance
  • Business outcomes
  • Market performance

Business success depends on numerous factors outside MediaStory’s control.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat confidential information with reasonable care.

Confidential information may include:

  • Business information
  • Financial information
  • Client data
  • Strategies
  • Processes
  • Proprietary materials

Confidential information shall not be disclosed except where required by law.

Termination

Either party may terminate a service relationship in accordance with the applicable agreement.

Upon termination:

  • Outstanding invoices remain payable
  • Completed work remains subject to payment
  • Access to systems may be removed
  • Certain obligations may survive termination
